The Bearded Collie Club of Canada has a Code of Ethics which specifies health screening requirements and age limits for breeding. The Canadian Kennel Club litter registration requirements relate to both sire and dam being registered, submission paper work be signed by owners of sire and dam residing within Canada or the USA. There do not appear to be any specific health testing requirements. As in other countries, there is encouragement to breed parents who are healthy and of sound temperament.
